Camarillo sits on the Oxnard Plain between the Conejo Grade and the strawberry fields: an outlet mall on the 101, a walkable Old Town on Ventura Boulevard, the 1892 Camarillo Ranch House, and an airport that was once Oxnard Air Force Base. It's also where this project started.
This is the first place we built and still the deepest one. Every real building footprint in the city is here at 1:1 scale, from Somis to the Pleasant Valley fields. You can walk into hundreds of shops, and each kind looks the part: order at a burger counter, sit down in a pizzeria, grab a coffee, chat with the locals. Old Town has its cinema, the Ranch House its Victorian parlor, and warbirds fly over the airport.
📐 The 3D Camarillo is built at 1:1 scale from 25,862 real building footprints and 1,038 km of mapped streets and paths, across roughly 14.8 × 9.8 km. 986 places carry their real names, including 438 shops, 180 restaurants & cafés, 81 clinics & pharmacies, 51 offices.

Getting there in real life
Metrolink and Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner stop at the Camarillo station on Lewis Road, at the east end of Old Town. Old Town's shops and restaurants line Ventura Boulevard between Lewis Road and Carmen Drive.
