Trail or Treat is a Halloween nature walk run by the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District at Camarillo Grove Park. In 2026 it's on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting from the Nature Center at 6968 Camarillo Springs Road.
Kids walk the Camarillo Grove Trail in costume and stop at stations along the way. At each stop they answer a nature question and collect a treat or small trinket, and there's a craft to make at the Nature Center or take home. It's aimed at children, and parents come along free.

About Camarillo
Camarillo sits on the Oxnard Plain between the Conejo Grade and the strawberry fields: an outlet mall on the 101, a walkable Old Town on Ventura Boulevard, the 1892 Camarillo Ranch House, and an airport that was once Oxnard Air Force Base. It's also where this project started.
Getting there: Metrolink and Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner stop at the Camarillo station on Lewis Road, at the east end of Old Town. Old Town's shops and restaurants line Ventura Boulevard between Lewis Road and Carmen Drive.
