The Winter Festival of Lights is Canada's largest free outdoor light festival, now in its 44th season. The 2026–27 season runs from November 14, 2026, to January 10, 2027, with displays lit nightly from 5pm to midnight, holidays included.
The route covers more than 8 km through Queen Victoria Park, the Niagara Parkway, the Fallsview District and Lundy's Lane. This season adds more than 25 new displays and interactive exhibits. It suits families and anyone visiting the Falls in winter.

Tips for going
- The organisers suggest driving Lundy's Lane and Dufferin Islands, then parking and walking the Falls area.
- Paid parking is available at the Falls Parking Lot, the Skylon Tower and Clifton Hill, or you can walk from your hotel or take the WEGO bus.
- Dress warmly, because you'll be outdoors on a winter evening.
- Plan a Friday or Saturday visit if you want to catch the fireworks.
