Holiday on High Street is Moorpark's downtown winter celebration. The City of Moorpark lists the 2026 date as Saturday, December 5. Local business owners started it in 2018, after the Borderline shooting in nearby Thousand Oaks, as a way to bring the community together.
Past editions have included snow play, Santa, food vendors, rides and kids' activities along historic High Street, and the event is free to attend. It is a small-town, family-focused evening rather than a large festival.

About Moorpark
Moorpark is a small city of horse properties and hillside neighborhoods between Simi Valley and Camarillo. Its old downtown is on High Street, and Moorpark College runs America's Teaching Zoo, where students train to be zookeepers.
Getting there: Metrolink's Moorpark station is on High Street, right in the old town, and Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner also stops there. Moorpark College and its teaching zoo are on the northeast side of town, off Campus Park Drive.
