İKSV's autumn festival of the year's festival-circuit films, including the Cannes winners. Its home screen is the restored Atlas cinema on İstiklal.
Filmekimi is the autumn film festival run by İKSV, the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts. It gathers highlights from the year's international festival circuit, including Cannes award-winners, and shows them to Turkish audiences. The organisers say it reaches more than 100,000 filmgoers each year.
In 2026 the Istanbul screenings run from 9 to 18 October at Atlas 1948 on İstiklal Caddesi, Kadıköy Sineması, City's CineWAM Nişantaşı and Paribu Art. It also runs in Ankara (15–18 October), then moves to İzmir and Mersin (22–25 October).

- Atlas 1948 is on pedestrianised İstiklal Caddesi, so come on foot or by public transport

About Beyoğlu
